1st Day: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok

2nd Day: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir (Permit Required)
  • Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.): It is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kms from the capital Gangtok.
  • New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.): Indian Army has built-in honour of Capt. Harbhajan Singh. Capt Singh is remembered as the “Hero of Nathula” by soldiers of the Indian army.

Note: In the case of closure of route and authority not issued permits to Tsomgo Lake, we will provide alternate sightseeing.

3rd Day: Gangtok City Tour
  • Tashi View Point: It offers a sweeping view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks on a clear day.
  • Ganesh Tok: This is a temple of Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Tok is located height of 6,500 ft and at a hill adjacent to the huge TV Tower.
  • Hanuman Tok: It is one of the Hindu temples in the upper reaches of Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim. 
  • Flower Exhibition Centre: Showcases flowers from the different parts of Sikkim together under a single roof.
  • Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre: This is a Government training centre for handloom and handicrafts, and there is an Emporium to sell these.
  • Namgyal Institute of Tibetology: This is a Tibet museum in Gangtok, Sikkim, India, named after the 11th Chogyal of Sikkim, Sir Tashi Namgyal.
  • Do-Drul Chorten: Stupa in Gangtok. Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, built this stupa in 1945. This stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur (Holy Books) and other religious objects.
  • Enchey Monastery: The Monastery was established in 1909 above Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital city in the Northeastern Indian state.
  • Banjakhri Falls: It is a recreation centre and tourist attraction near Gangtok, in Sikkim, India. The park’s statuary and other displays document the Ban Jhakri, or traditional shamanic healer who worships spirits living in caves around the falls. The ban means “forest”, and jhākri means “healer”.

4th Day: Gangtok – Chardham – Pelling

Distance Covered: 150 kms (approx)

Enroute Sightseeing:

  • Samdruptse Hill: The ‘wish fulfilling hill’ is just 5 km away from Namchi, situated at 7000 ft. This epic Hill has a giant statue of the Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), Sikkim’s patron saint.
  • Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham): The four most revered Dhams of the Hindus have been replicated in this fantastic complex to benefit the devotees and tourists.

5th Day: Pelling Sightseeing 

Morning Sightseeing: 

  • Darap Village: Darap Cherry Village is one of the few unknown Sikkim places; if a visitor is looking for a taste of rural life can escape from the maddening crowds of touristic places.
  • Rimbi Waterfalls: Rimbi waterfall is on Rimbi River to Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksam; the waterfall looks spectacular, which attracts many tourists.
  • Khecheopalri Lake: This Lake is often believed to be the sacred and wish-fulfilling Lake and is a peaceful and beautiful Lake around Sikkim.
  • Khangchendzongha Waterfalls: 28 kms from Pelling is one of the active waterfalls during the rainy season. One of the few unexplored destinations of Sikkim.

Afternoon Sightseeing: 

  • Pemayangtse Monastery: It is a Buddhist monastery in Pemayangtse, near Pelling in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim.
  • Rabdantse Ruins: Once Rabdentse was the second capital of Sikkim’s former Kingdom from 1670 to 1814. The invading Gurkha army destroyed the capital city, and the only remaining ruins of the palace is here now. 
  • New Helipad Ground: Sunset point.

6th Day: Pelling – Darjeeling

7th Day: Darjeeling City Tour

Early Morning (04:00 am) Sightseeing: 

  • Tiger hill (8,400 ft.): Tiger Hill has a mesmerizing view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together.
  • Ghoom Monastery: Yiga Choeling is also known as Ghoom Monastery. Yellow Hat Sect is the disciple of this monestry. Ghoom is famous for a very high statue of Maitreya Buddha.

After Breakfast Sightseeing: 

  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: On 4th November 1954 to encourage Mountaineering among local, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI Darjeeling) was formed in Darjeeling,
  • P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed): Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is one of the most prominent zoos in West Bengal. 
  • Tenzing Rock: HMI rock conducts climbing basic training classes here.
  • Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed): It is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region.
  • Tea Garden (Outer view): You can enjoy the view of Happy Valley Tea Estate. 
  • Ropeway: This Cable car also known as Rangeet Valley Passenger Cable Car. You can see the mesmerizing view of the valley around the river Little Rangeet. You will need to board the cable car from Singamari, which is 3 kms (i.e. 1.8 miles) away from Darjeeling Chowk Bazaar. 
  • Japanese Temple: This temple sports a traditional Japanese style architectural design. The Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda is a 10-minute drive from the heart of Darjeeling town.
  • Batasia Loop: The Batasia Loop was created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling. At Batasia, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919 and still working.

8th Day: Darjeeling – Kalimpong Half Day City Tour

Afternoon Sightseeing: 

  • Mangal Dham: It is a significant worship place in Kalimpong. Guruji Mangaldasji Maharaj came in 1940 here, and this place was built in the memory of Guruji. 
  • Deolo Hill: At an Altitude of approx 5590 ft, this Hill is one of the two hills that the town of Kalimpong stands between. Kalimpong town is on a ridge connecting the two peaks, Durpin and Deolo. The Hill is the highest point of Kalimpong town.
  • Dr Graham’s Home: In 1900, Reverend Dr John Anderson Graham, a missionary of Scotland, came to Kalimpong to work with the local, laid the stone of this home.
  • Golf Garden: This golf course offers some excellent view of the mighty Himalayas. Under the control of the army, this is one of the highest golf courses in the country. It also has a dosa point (open to everyone), where you can enjoy some south Indian dishes and click photos with the golf course in the backdrop.
  • Durpin Dara Hills: This hill is one of the two hills on whose ridge Kalimpong town is settled.
  • Pine View Nursery: Pine view Nursery is a cactus nursery and well known and must-visit tourist spot in Kalimpong.
