DAY 1:ARRIVE REUNION ISLAND:

Arrive at RUN airport. Clear your immigrations and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight at Reunion Island.

DAY 2:CIRQUE OF SALAZIE:

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the North. The main road, circulation, this area is plenty of activities because it is the economic heart of Reunion Island. As soon as you will cover the 13 kilometres of the famous coastal road to Saint-Denis, you will discover its old Creole houses dating to the East India Trade Company period, its metropolitan atmosphere and its bourgeois charm, and just after the Sainte Marie’s green sugar canes plantations. At the edge of the East, the colourful architecture of Hindu temples delights your eyes. Your sense will be subject to a severe test! Aromatic beans are programmed: vanilla exploitation, pioneer saga and all the subtlety preparation, such as exquisite perfumes, take hold of your senses until ecstasy! Salazie access is a succession of amazing landscapes, where green is strongly present. Thousand essential oil, waterfalls and flowers will accompany you until the top, around 1 000 m of altitude! DAY 3:FULLDAY TOUR TO THE VOLCANO:

The cold morning air will be quickly transformed by the natural warmth of volcanic sites. The West’s roads reveal a seaside where calm coasts are punctuated by abrupt cliffs until Saint Pierre. Here begin the ascent to Plaine des Cafres plateaus and to la Grande Ferme. Heathers, gentians, villages, pastures, cows, forests will be the setting until Nez de Boeuf at 2 070 m. At this place, it stretches a puzzling valley: 22 km of geological surprises! The gaping hole of Commerson crater has as many rocks as question marks. This amphitheatre loved by geologists announced the amazing discoveries first fruits. The higher point of the day will be at 2360 m. Once you will have finished this visit, the change of scene will be sudden! La Plaine des Sables will blindingly obvious as a challenge to immensity. It’s like in one step you go from earth to the moon. Fantastic, indescribable! Le Pas de Bellecombe, at 2 311 m, is a place which overlooks from a cliff of 150 m, a large enclosure over 22 km on 10, in which there are not less than 60 craters. The highest is Le Bory at 2 631 m. After a hearty mountain lunch, you will go from basaltic natural structures to the futuristic architecture of the Volcano’s House. This museum, of modern, interactive and playful conception as much as instructive, let’s ignore nothing of the tempestuous life of volcanoes or the geologic formation of the island. DAY 4:THE WILD SOUTH:

Early departure to the South. After crossing Grands Bois and dominant winds zone, you will discover as one goes along a country with the changeable landscape. For centuries, ocean and wild coast rocks engage titanic fighting! Tropical rains abundantly water the whole vegetal blanket, which gives these sites a beautiful exuberance. Primary forests carpet the volcanic summits foothills, for the white-tailed tropicbirds and papangues happiness. Grand-Anse was the first inhabited place of the South. The site is impressive: coconuts shade, green blanket until the sandy beach where whole corals indicate that is a young island and we must visit it with care and without break its first centuries fragility. DAY 5:HALF DAY TOUR TO SAGA DU RHUM:

Half day excursion in St Pierre, capital of the south and the South Coast. Discovering the wild Grand Anse beach, Manapany’s fisherman port and St Pierre with his different places of worship from all the religions. Visit of LA SAGA DU RHUM. Established at the heart of the Isautier distillery in Saint Pierre the oldest family distillery of the island, founded in 1845 the Saga du Rhum is La REunion’s only rum museum. Shopping time.

DAY 6:DEPARTURE:

Transfer to the airport. Tour Ends

  • Any cancellation at 45 Days prior to arrival date – No charge
  • Any cancellation between 45 Days – 30 Days prior to arrival date: 25% of tour fare charge
  • Any cancellation between 30 Days – 15 Days prior to arrival date: 50% of tour fare charge
  • Any cancellation between 15 Days – 10 Days prior to arrival date: 75% of tour fare charge
  • Any cancellation less than 10 Days: 100% of tour fare charge.
